WHat is the collective?

As I am getting older, I have learned that it is incredibly hard to find community outside of school and work. Once we hit our mid-twenties our social lives slow down. Almost two years ago it dawned on me that I don't have a community anymore and I miss what I had during my undergrad days. Thus, The Collective was born.

The Collective is a space for women to belong.

At the beginning of the calendar year, I opened up applications for this community. The Collective is a space where we experience life together, see each other on a monthly basis and get to experiment in front of the camera together. 2022 is the first year of The Collective, and let me tell you, these 10 women have blown me away. They have made belonging somewhere so easy. We have shared our vulnerabilities, our joys, our darkness and have been accepted every step of the way.

In short, The Collective, is a group of women hand selected by me, Bailey, to do life with. I plan styled photoshoots and events for these women in hopes that at the end of the year they will feel like they belong... and made a few friends along the way.
